SCIT's Information Technology program trains students to configure, administer and manage Microsoft and Cisco based computer networks for entry level IT positions virtually found in every industry. Students build enterprise simulating networks through heavy hands-on training with Cisco equipment and Microsoft software. Courses prepare students for multiple industry recognized IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, and Microsoft MCITP Enterprise Administrator.

Virtual Servers: Access your own designated virtual server(s) and work on labs from home. You can use the virtual servers to prepare for the MCITP exam as well.
Microsoft Software to Take Home: Obtain free authorized Microsoft software (such as Windows Server 2008) to install on your home computer for educational purposes.
Open Lab Hours: labs are open at certain time outside of classroom hours to allow student to work with lab equipment to prepare for certification exams (such as CCNA) or work on projects.
Microsoft Exam Vouchers: Obtain commercially price discounted vouchers for Microsoft certification exams.
Many IT related positions required degree level studies in the computer field in addition to experience. Graduates of the IT program may have an opportunity to pursue a Computer Science degree at SCIT after they complete their diploma level studies. Degree courses are offered in the evening allowing students to work during the day while studying at night toward a degree.
