All eligible students and parents can receive some type of financial assistance, regardless of the family's income and assets. However, for SCIT to determine your eligibility for specific programs, you must complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can do this online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. SCIT's Federal School code is OPE ID# 031136-00.
Student who have completed the FAFSA and would like to apply for a Federal Direct Loan may do so at www.studentloans.gov. In order to apply for a Direct Loan, student must use the PIN number assigned to them. Students usually apply for and obtain this number at the end of the FAFSA application. If you do not have a PIN number, please visit the Federal Student Aid PIN Website.
Students should check their Cal Grant status by visiting the California Student Aid Commission's (CSAC) website for students.
Scholarships are free money that does not need to be repaid. If interested, please visit www.finaid.org for more information.
